I love Star Trek just like the next guy. I love their communication system so much; that today as a race of people  I think smart cellphones are our new way to stay connected- to the mother ship, the internet. It is also a physical addiction because my fingers and hands are form fitting to the phone’s shape especially when my brain ask, “where is my phone?”  When in reality my brain is saying I need to connect to the matrix and my hands feel idle.  Company’s have access to your behavoir and are not letting up, because we are not letting up. We want more devices and these companies are giving us what we want. Our brains are connected to websites so much that the newest cellphone will be called the -phantom phone- not only a phone but a condition.
Dont you hate when you forget your phone back home. The law states smartphones and other phones and tablets are personal property, which is punishable by the highest offenses. With so many ways to stay connected its only fair that if people violate your internet/phone space it is a crime. Not only is it a crime it is rude to: tell some one to stop talking on the phone in public at the same time its rude to talk on the phone in public. Lol is even a term that is used lightly. Computers have no emotions and neither do text messages so sometimes you need a LOL! I have the newest phone out. Then 15 months later they created the third upgrade, now I am two phone versions behind. These firms are not slowing down and why should they, the consumer isn’t. So what will we do when I can set my phone to stun instead of kill. Yea, I might be close to my phone but it’s because my phone makes me feel its close to me, therefore, I feel connected to the people. The more it can do for me, the more you and I will depend on it. Can we afford not to be connected or protected or deleted. Your cell phone may be an addiction if you feel lost if you were to leave it at home for just 1 day.
