The American Teen Dream

Greetings

As I am in the midst of succeeding in what I consider my American Dream I must take a moment to speak of someone who is only a teenager but yet has great ambitions. So today, I would like to share with you a video of my niece, Geraldine Cherubin. She was recently awarded as an All-Area Basketball player in the Connecticut New Haven Register newspaper (Sports 4/21/2011.) Her coaches and I trained her in the sport for 3 years now. She is coachable and she picks things up quickly. It helps that she is 16 years old and already has a height of 6 foot 3. She has come such a long way. She is a B+ student. She is also interested in medicine for her college degree. It is proof that the American Dream is still alive, because I see her chasing her dreams and they may come true. As a junior in High School she has many D1 and D2 Schools attempting to recruit her. So America I say this for you, “Let your teens dream, The American Dream.” Please take a moment and view this vid.
Its a video that just needs to get some recognition. I always support people that are trying to get the American Dream, teen or not.

She is at the 2:37 mark and for 10 seconds she shines with all the other star athletes. I am so proud of her. Everytime teens do well you should ackowledge and support their efforts especially if its related to the the big picture of ‘The American Dream.’

The next American dream is owning property.

The world has reached a point where much of its land has been explored and/or occupied.  Centuries ago boats were still discovering new land, but now our generation is all about discovering new information.  What holds true is that property is here to stay and if you can get your hands on some, you should try your best to hold on to it.  This brings me to my next portion, I am into real estate investing. I suggest you get into it too, its a great way to diversify your investments.

I really enjoy buying property through back taxes. It’s how I feel any one can make a living running their own business in America.  Lately, with all the news about bad real estate investing (2008-2010); it seems that America is headed down a few notches as the best country to reside in.  Do not believe the hype, it is still possible to be great, right here in America by owning property over and over again.

Quick Property Tax History: Taxes on your property not paid leads to forclosures as well, other investors have the option to purchase the leins from your county, and now you owe the new lien holder. If you do not pay you lose your property, every home owner knows this or they should. The tax lien industry has been around for a long time. These payments help pay for the budget year for schools and city repairs etc. The good thing is you can be the investor of back tax properties, now that you own the property you can sell it or keep it. Even if the homeowner was not aware of the back taxes. But if you are the homeowner that’s behind, you need to stay on top of things because you may get extra fees added to your original tax bill. The counties need their money. As an investor if you would not mind buying a repossessed car at an auction for a great price then keeping it or selling it, then tax liens are for you, if not then America has something else for you to invest in to make your money.

Please look over this video, purchasing property tax is so lucrative, that hedge funds and banks are trying to make money this way, but it seems they are going about it in the wrong way. Its illegal to add fees to back taxes, such as a hedge fund or bank would do, so they are finding ways around it. Its such an honest business, because these city taxes help pay for roads and schools, but these guys are treating it like its a secret. Are they taking advantage of the Dream. America is not messed up its the people in these corporations that leave a bad taste in your mouth. The American dream is for the people who want it most, no matter what. The First and Second American Dream.

The first and second American dream is “freedom” to express thy self and the second is to get a job that can move you on to the next dream which is ……….

Thats for next time but lets talk about #1 and #2.  The reason people come to the U.S is to escape whatever negative life they were living and had the fortunate option to leave. Leaving is something that many people can not do.  That makes America great right there, you have that option, but there is more.  Once you escape or leave your horrible situation that doesn’t even allow you to study your desired religion or lack of religion without dying for it right away.    Now we need to work and make money or some type of funds to help ourselves and our family.  Basic human nature ” let my family make generations here” its in your code to do so. Some say Human kind has been here for 2 Million years, some say the last 200 thousands makes us humans and some say the last ten thousands are what really count, there are some that say the last 2 thousands are real, its a shame but some people don’t even think about the last two days let alone the next two days which can add up to a whole generation maybe even two right in your own lifetime. I hope you see the generation thing Im talking about.  Without shelter and work we will not last.  America provides both for the  200 + years its only now we feel the American dream is dead, well I’m hear to tell you it is not.  It is simply changing, but remains the same.  The land of the free cost an unbelievable amount of time and money to stay free and you have to take your freedom not just assume its free no matter  your race. Seriously, the people with the most freedom in America are the ones that take it.  Yes we had slavery and poor conditions for our own citizens, but that just proves the prior statement.
